There is so much to love about visiting our nation’s capital over Thanksgiving! DC will be dressed for the holidays, school children will be at home with their families, museums and attractions are literally at our fingertips from our exceptional downtown hotel, and the weather should be warm enough to get out and enjoy the national mall and memorials.

A perennial favorite, our Thanksgiving tour is perfect for those among us hoping to escape kitchen duty or just wanting a change of pace for the holiday.

 

Our plan is simple: We will see the sights and also take time to relax at our gorgeous hotel, step out in the evening for a Kennedy Center show, dine at a selection of the city’s fine restaurants and generally enjoy ourselves!  We will tour the Capitol and Arlington National Cemetery. We will offer optional tours to   surrounding attractions in the nearby towns of Annapolis and Alexandria. Naturally we will have a glorious Thanksgiving feast featuring both traditional recipes and some new twists on old favorites. If you are hoping for a non-cooking, totally relaxing, stress-free holiday this year, then join us for this special tour!
