Experience one of America’s most spectacular rail journeys aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railroad which has followed Colorado’s winding and tumbling Arkansas River since 1879. Then climb aboard the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad for a trip through steep mountain canyons, high desert and lush meadows as you zigzag between the Colorado and New Mexico border.             

 

Next, aboard the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, you’ll journey through the stunning Rocky Mountains. The Grand Canyon is our next destination  before we head to the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona where you will step aboard the Verde Canyon Train for a 20-mile journey through 100 years of history of remote wilderness.   

 

 Then join visitors from all over the world to see the  Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.  The New Mexico skies are painted with splendid color as hundreds of balloons lift off for the most photographed event on earth. You will witness the Mass Ascension of these graceful giants.
