BMW Factory Tour

See how the ultimate driving machine is built!

Your 2 hours and 30 minutes (2.5 hrs.) guided factory tour will begin at the Zentrum Museum, and includes both a rotation through the Main Body Shop and one of the Assembly Halls. The Main Body Shop is where you will see about 2000 high tech precision robots build the frames of our vehicles. Each of the vehicles spend about 6 hours in the Body shop before traveling on a covered conveyor system to the paint shop.

 

Your Tour Guide will also lead you through one of the Assembly Halls and highlight the 6 hour process to complete the vehicle so it is ready for delivery to our customers.

 

Please note the 2.5 hours tour is not accessible to visitors in wheelchairs and/or walkers due to the design, limited timing of the tour and our safety logistics involved in the route of this guided tour. The walking route of the 2 hr. factory tour is a little more than 2 miles in distance.

Tour Includes:

• Lunch in Greer at one of our favorite restaurants.

• Transportation via our luxurious Mercedes Benz Sprinter.

• Complimentary onboard beverages and snacks.

• Fully escorted tour with experienced tour manager.

• Tour will depart from the Globe Treks office at 9:00 AM and return around 5:00PM.

• Tour limited to 12 guests.
