Chicago - The Windy City

We are off to the Windy City!  For over 150 years, Chicago has been a rail and sea gateway to the West, leading to a city where fortunes and empires have been built, lost and re-built in the indomitable style that personifies Chicago.

 

While there we will take an architectural cruise on the Chicago River and will learn how the city grew from a small back-country outpost to the vibrant city it is today.

 

Visits to Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, The Art Institute and Willis Tower, as well as a private guided tour of the city are scheduled. Our evening highlights will include sampling Chicago’s special brand of jazz and enjoying their legendary cuisine. 

 

Hold on to your hats and come along with us for a wonderful tour of Chi-town. Chicago offers a spectacular lakefront skyline, a lively mix of fine food, vibrant arts and rich history all served up with a warm Midwestern welcome. It is a sparkling clean and amazingly beautiful American gem!
