Celebrate the holidays in style at the acclaimed, oceanfront, The King and Prince Resort on beautiful St Simons Island. Set amid old world opulence with fine coastal dining, this is our fantastic base of operations to celebrate the low country in all its Christmas finery. We visit historic Savannah, decorated for the holidays and take a private tour of Sapelo Island, a barrier island accessible only by boat. Visit the National Estuarine Research Reserve and learn about the unique Gullah culture. Weather permitting we will experience the life of a shrimper aboard the Lady Jane, a working shrimp boat and visit Fort Frederica and the WWII Homefront Museum. We will also celebrate Globe Treks and Golden Isle’s Christmas traditions, including a delectable and memorable Christmas Buffet at The King and Prince.
