Costa Rica is a destination like no other. Where else can you visit pristine tropical beaches and sea turtle nesting sites in the morning and take a canopy tour of a lush rainforest after lunch?
Colorful and rich biodiversity, massive resting volcanoes, wild rivers and mysterious cloud forests beckon adventurers to discover the untamed beauty of Costa Rica. This friendly nation hosts thousands of visitors each year who are eager for a unique travel experience in one of Central America’s oldest democracies.
Our tour will include the very best of Costa Rica’s natural wonders. We begin with a tour of the Doka Coffee Plantation which sits at the base of the Poas volcano. We travel by bus and boat to Tortuguero National Park for two nights. From our eco-lodge we will explore the park by boat, walk the Caribbean beach where endangered sea turtles come to nest, and visit the village of Tortuguero.
We have seen sloth, hosts of monkeys, poison dart frogs, iguanas, turtles, butterflies, crocodiles, turtles, hundreds of brilliantly colored birds! We will travel to the cloud forest environments near Arenal volcano and visit La Fortuna. We'll enjoy a stunning drive around Lake Arenal with time to relax in the areas hot springs.
