Each fall, the ground rumbles and the dust flies as cowboys and cowgirls saddle up to bring in the thundering buffalo herd. The annual Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup in the lush forest and serene plains of the beautiful Black Hills of western South Dakota is a once in a lifetime experience. We celebrate by staying at the fabulous and historic Sylvan Lake Lodge inside

Custer State Park. Built in 1931, at a site suggested by Frank Lloyd Wright, within a hillside forest of native spruce and Pine, this will indeed be a memorable stay. But the Dakota’s offer so much more: Mt Rushmore, Deadwood, the Crazy Horse Monument, the mysterious and beautiful Badlands, Wind Cave National Park. Wall Drug Store, the Medora musical, and Teddy Roosevelt National Park. With this much to see and do it’s easy to understand how magical and remarkable the Dakota’s can be!

 

Roundtrip airfare is included into Bismarck, ND and out of Sioux Falls, SD on this 9 day tour OR you can travel roundtrip with us via Sprinter between September 20 and October 4 for a 15 day tour for an extra $800 per guest.
