The island of Hawaii is the youngest and largest island in the Hawaiian chain, hence, its nickname, "Big Island." We travel through all but four of the world's different climate zones here, ranging from Wet Tropical to Polar Tundra, and also tour Volcanoes National Park. Fly non-stop from Atlanta or have a west coast layover to breakup the journey a bit! If this is a once in a lifetime trip, add a two night extension to visit Kauai.
