Iceland...a land of volcanoes and glaciers, heroic legends and rich history. Hot springs, light houses, fishing villages, mountains, puffins and whales abound, Iceland is also home to the world’s first legislative parliament convened in 930 AD!

 

With a population of just over 300,000 in a land area smaller than Ohio, Iceland is the most sparsely populated country in the developed world, yet one of the most beautiful. We’ve timed our tour perfectly to allow the best opportunity to view the Northern Lights. 
Statistically October and March are the best periods to search for the Aurora, when the Earth’s magnetic field and the Sun’s activity are most favorable.    

 

After our flight to New York or Boston, our international leg is a short five hours. Arriving in Reykjavik, we’ll meet our Icelandic guide and driver who will escort us around this spectacular island nation.

 

Iceland is unparalleled for its geothermal and glacial natural wonders. Tour highlights include the famous Blue Lagoon, the hot springs at Reykjanes Peninsula, impressive Skógafoss waterfall, the black lava beach and bird cliffs at Reynisfjara, Sólheimajökull glacier, Geysir geothermal fields, and several opportunities to view the dramatic Northern Lights.
