Ireland - The Emerald Isle

This week-long tour of southern Ireland showcases some of the Emerald Isle's most scenic and notable places.  From Dublin’s Georgian avenues to the majestic Cliffs of Moher, Ireland welcomes all her visitors with friendship and hospitality. We’ll enjoy some traditional Irish music and dance and sample the local cuisine and favorite beverages all along our route. An excellent variety of accommodations await us, including a stay at the Bunratty Manor Hotel; The Dunloe, an elegant rural retreat outside of Killarney; the perfectly situated Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel and the O’Callaghan Davenport Hotel in Dublin’s center.  We will visit Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Killarney’s Muckross House, the Rock of Cashel and Kilkenny Castle. 

 

Gorgeous natural landscapes abound: the rocky coastlines and seascapes of the Dingle peninsula; peaceful lakes and mountains in Killarney National Park and rolling green farmland encircled by ancient  stone fences covered in cascading fuschia.   

 

There’s no wonder Irish eyes are always smiling!
