Enjoy afternoon tea in the hotel's parlor and nightly dancing in the ballroom. Once our riders and flyers unite in Detroit, we will spend the afternoon at the fabulous Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. After an overnight stay in Detroit we will be rested and ready to move on to the tour’s main attraction.

We will drive to Mackinac City and ferry over to Mackinac Island where we will be welcomed in style to The Grand Hotel! This historic hotel, featured in the romantic movie Somewhere in Time, has been a national treasure for decades. There's no place quite like it. The Grand Hotel opened in 1887 and is still totally in tune with the slow-paced island life style where cars have been replaced by horses and bicycles as the favored modes of transportation. Although the island embraces the leisurely pace of the past, The Grand Hotel boasts the finest modern day luxury amenities. It is a perfect marriage of past and present.
