Shenandoah National Park

Shenandoah National Park &

Potomac Rail

June 28 - July 2, 2019

The 4,700 acres of the classic Capon Springs Resort will highlight the first two nights of the tour.

From there we will cruise the famed Skyline Drive along the crest of the mountains in Shenandoah National Park.   We’ll spend a magnificent day exploring the park, with frequent stops for sights and history all along the way. The clean mountain air will cool and invigorate us!

Another full day will be spent on the Potomac Eagle Train on a round trip excursion from Romney, WV through the Allegheny mountains.  Our first class rail journey features a delicious lunch. Join us as we explore Shenandoah and the mountains and byways of scenic West Virginia and Virginia.

We plan to visit the Virginia Quilt Museum and the Valley Brethren Mennonite Heritage Center before heading home.  This tour delivers the best of the WV mountain hospitality and the scenic beauty of Virginia’s Blue Ridge at a perfect time of year.
