Swiss Alps by Rail & Cable Car
June 14 - 22, 2020
The Swiss Alps by rail and cable car! First, Lucerne and a cruise on crystal-clear Lake Lucerne then an adventure as we ascend the steepest rack railway in the world for some breathtaking vistas over the Swiss Alps before our cable car ride down the mountains and on to car-free Appenzell by 1st Class train. Next, St. Moritz, the world-famous resort, located on the southern flank of the Swiss Alps, amidst the lake landscape of the Engadine, the role of Europe. Then on to Andermatt via the epic Galcier Express train across soaring bridges and deep tunnels through the Oberalp Pass and the mighty Matterhorn and the car-free village of Zermatt where to enjoy the VIP cable car to Klein Matterhorn and an extraordinary glacier palace under the surface of a glacier!
