It is time to escape! What better place for a change of pace than the 4 Diamond oceanfront King & Prince Resort, the finest hotel on the jewel of Georgia’s Golden Isles, St. Simons. Each day of the tour will have interesting private tours but also allow plenty of R&R time to enjoy the beach and quaint town of St. Simons.

After picking you up at your home for a morning departure we will stop en route to our destination in Savannah for a first time experience touring Savannah Harbor on a 1.5 hour private boat tour before checking into an oceanfront room and enjoying a re-laxing dinner at the resort. 

​

Day 2 will feature another first time experience for our guests, a private tour of historic Sapelo Island, a barrier island accessible only by boat or plane. After a short ferry ride, we will explore the National Estuarine Research Reserve as well as learn about the unique Gullah culture. 

​

Day 3 will start with a private tour of the island, Fort Frederica, Christ Church, lighthouse and the new World War II Home Front Museum. We will also experience the life of a shrimper on board the Lady Jane as we cruise and actually drop the nets in the calm waters of the picturesque Marshes of Glynn County and its tributaries.

Day 4 is Christmas Day! Our celebration includes a Christmas Party, holiday feast and a mystery drive to welcome the festive season (might even include some special lights and a visit from Santa).

Our final day will let you relax in the morning for more beach time before a 10am departure and lunch of your choice at either Sam Sneads or the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum. Finally, home to your front door via the Globe Treks private car service!
