At Globe Treks Tours and Cruises, we pride ourselves on transparency and meticulous planning. Because our tours are designed for small groups and feature exclusive partnerships, early booking and timely payments are essential to guarantee your seat. Please review our payment schedule below to understand the deposit requirements and final payment deadlines for our North American, International, Cruise and Day Tours.
We encourage our guests to purchase travel insurance to help protect against any unforeseen losses, fees and/or additional costs. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance at the time of your initial deposit, should you need to cancel for any covered reason. If you cancel, the actual date of your cancellation will determine the exact amount of your refund.
GLOBE TREKS OFFERS TRAVEL INSURANCE OPTIONS. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE THROUGH GLOBE TREKS, WE ASK THAT YOU DO SO AT THE TIME OF YOUR INITIAL DEPOSIT. THE INSURANCE PREMIUM IS IN ADDITION TO THE DEPOSIT AMOUNT.
Payment Schedule
To hold space on a tour, payment schedule is as follows:
International Tour:
Initial Deposit: $2,000 per guest required five business days after booking
Final Payment: Due 90 days prior to departure
North American Tour:
Initial Deposit: $1,000 per guest required five business days after booking
Final Payment: Due 60 days prior to departure
Cruise:
Initial Deposit: Ranges from $25 to $2,000 per guest required five business days after booking
Final Payment: Date determined by cruise line's policy
Day Tour:
Total Payment: Due at time of booking to confirm space
To keep our tour prices as low as possible, the rates shown reflect a Cash/Check discount. For your convenience, we also accept ACH (2% fee) and Credit Cards (3% fee).
