Iceland...a land of volcanoes and glaciers, heroic legends and rich history. Hot springs, light houses, fishing villages, mountains, puffins and whales abound, Iceland is also home to the world’s first legislative parliament convened in 930 AD!

With a population of just over 300,000 in a land area smaller than Ohio, Iceland is the most sparsely populated country in the developed world, yet one of the most beautiful. After our flight to NY or Boston, our international leg is a short five hours. Arriving in Reykjavik, we will meet our Icelandic guide and driver who will escort us around this spectacular island nation all in the span of one amazing week.

Iceland is unparalleled for its geothermal and glacial natural wonders. Tour highlights include: the hot springs at Geysir, massive Gullfoss waterfall, Skaftafell National Park & Vatnajökull glacier. We will cruise lovely Lake Jökulsarlon, visit powerful Godafoss, another of Iceland’s famous falls, Lake Myvatn in the north, the great flocks of puffins and other migrating birds and a landscape dominated by strange volcanic lava pillars and rocky caves with roofless vents.
