Explore wild, wonderful West Virginia at the peak of fall foliage season. We begin with lunch (and shopping) at Tamarack Arts Center followed by an underground coal train ride at the historic Beckley Exhibition coal mine, with real retired miners leading the tour. The following day we’ll enjoy an open air ride on the Cass Scenic Railroad, which will transport us back in time as it takes us on a memorable adventure along the twisting track of a century-old logging railway.

 

Our journey features all 3 nights at the famous Greenbrier Resort. Pairing the gracious past with the exceptional comforts and elegance of today, our stay will include a tour of an actual Cold War fallout shelter hidden beneath The Greenbrier.  Known as The Bunker, a government facility that remained top secret for more than three decades.
