The nation’s capital is always inspiring and great fun to visit but in the late fall it is particularly stun-ning. The weather is cool and crisp, the crowds are smaller and we will have ample time to experience the many attractions of the mall, museums and the world-class galleries.

 

We will offer a full day tour to Annapolis, but you may choose to remain in DC for even more touring and museum time there. We always include a music event and the Kennedy Center is always our first choice. Our guide Jeanne Fogle will share stories from her award winning book and we will also have an optional night time driving tour for another perspective on the city.

 

Our beautiful hotel, the Gaylord National, sits directly on the Potomac and is a convenient and gracious home base for the entire four nights of the tour. 

 

We will visit the historic port city of Annapolis and tour the United States Naval Academy and enjoy a boat tour of Annapolis Harbor. The picturesque town boasts amazing seafood to go along with the inspiration of the young men and women of the Academy working to protect our freedoms!
